Reflection questions

1) Why do you want to be a teacher?
I'm in it for the money! Actually, I want to teach because I love kids so much. I can't have my own children yet, so I like to play with other people's children. I find so much pleasure in working with children. It is so rewarding to see them catching on to what you have been trying to teach them. I think that sums it up pretty well. Teaching is fun and something that I really enjoy, so why not be a teacher?

2) Why would/should you use technology as a teacher?
I would (not just should) use technology in my future classroom. There is so much that can be learned through the assistance of the countless types of technology that are available to us today. And Im sure that the technology world will be even more beneficial to me once I am finished with school and start my teaching. Children can learn so much through the medium of technology, so we should definitely implement it in the class. Technology is great!

Story Books

I have been having a lot of fun creating our storybook in Powerpoint. I think that if I have been enjoying this so much, then this is definitley a great idea that students could use, even in very young grades. It would add a little variety to creating books. After creating rhyming stories on ppt, students could possibly transfer them to paper to made real books. Inspiration was a great help in the process as well. I have used inspiration before, but I didn't know about the rapid fire button. That would have been a great help. Oh well. I am so stoked to see my finished story as well as everyone else's next week in class.
