Website Mania

Can I just say that I really enjoyed making my website? It was a little frustrating using tripod because the layout was already set and then I finally figured our how to change it once I was done with the website, so I guess that I can use that knowledge next time I make a site. I think that making a website for my real class in the future will be so much better since it will be with real students and people will actually be visiting my site. To visit my website, go to:

Web Pubs

I must say that I am very excited to work on my own website. It is a little frustrating figuring everything out, but it will all be worth it when Im finished (I hope). The problem is that Im not able to access my web pub space. Can we use them off-campus or only on-campus? I hope that I can work on this at home because that would be very convenient for me. If anyone knows about this, please share you knowledge with me. Thanks.

Nevermind!

I realized that my password was already synchronized so there are no problems. I even added a picture file to my web pub. Pretty exciting stuff. I guess that means that I am a pro at this thing now. So, if anyone needs any help, I am the guru that is willing to assist you.

Web pub confusion

Im not exactly sure what Im supposed to be doing now with this web pub thing. I still can't synchronize my password. Does this need to be done before I move on? If anyone knows how to get these web pubs started, please let me know. If not I'll keep trying to figure out what is going on.

I should have listened

I went home the the great state of Arizona this past summer and had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with my siblings. My 14 year old brother is way into computers and he would always talk to me about whatever he thought was interesting concerning computers as well as programs that I should use on my laptop. Of course I never really paid much attention to what he had to say. One of the things that he always promoted was Mozilla Firefox. When I noticed Geoff using this in class, I converted from Internet Explorer and now I love it so much. Then today, everything that Geoff suggested was something that I had already heard about from my brother(ie. G-mail, Firefox, and the program that allows you to use all instant messengers at once). My brother would be so happy to hear me admitting that he was right. Maybe he should co-teach with Geoff. Sounds good, eh?
